Yes, you can. Our lava lamp settings offer three different water flow speeds for users to select. The water flow speed controls the size of the twister and the speed at which the twister moves.
Can I add glitter to this?

Yes, you can. There are 2 bags of beads and 1 bag of snow included in the package. Different quantities of beads & snow will create varying visual effects. Add as needed to achieve the desired visual effect.
Is this made of glass or plastic? Can it be left on overnight?

Plastic. The lamp automatically shuts off after 8 hours of constant use. You can also set the timer for automatic shut-off at 4 or 8 hours
